# v1.12.4: macOS Desktop Signing Fix

Highlights:

- Fixes Developer ID code signing for the macOS desktop DMG, which had failed in
  CI with "Could not find certificate ... in keychain []".

## Build & Documentation

- Fixes the macOS desktop DMG release build: Compose's signer maps the signing
  identity to a certificate via `security find-certificate`, which did not
  resolve the CI-imported certificate through the keychain search list (bare
  `codesign` did). The release workflow now exports the throwaway keychain path
  and points Compose's `signing.keychain` straight at it.
